Christmas cards galore ......

Hello there

It's been a couple of weeks since my last blog sometimes life gets in the way!!

I thought I'd share with you the Christmas cards we made at my November card classes.
Two cards were made with one of the stamp sets and thinlits from the Snowflake Showcase, which sadly are no longer available.  I love the colour combo of Cherry Cobbler and Granny Apple Green.
I used the Stamparatus on the Balmy Blue card with sentiments from the Merry Christmas to All.
I loved the design so much I made a bunch in difference color combinations.
I used Signs of Santa's stamp set and some of the gorgeous Santa's Workshop Speciality DSP in the design.
The last card was made with the Hometown Greetings thinlits and Hearts Come Home Stamp set with lots of sponging. We all had very inky fingers after class!!
I haven't uploaded any videos to my YouTube chanel recently either. I usually do one a week but I've had some technical problems!!  I've upgraded my phone from a Samsung A3 2016 to a brand new Samsung Galaxy S9 (purple of course) and am delighted with it but need to work out out to compress videos so I can edit them! I will try to find time soon.

I've listed below the products I used for the cards shared above so if you click on the photos you will go to my Stampin’ Up On-line store, or click here for a general browse. Don't forget to use the December Hostess code if your order is between £25 and £150 to get a FREE gift from me in January.

If you have any questions, live in West Sussex and would like to come to a class or host a party please get in touch at

As always, thanks for popping by.

Swaps I received at On Stage in Birmingham

hello stampers!

I'm a day late but doubt  anyone will mind (or even notice)! As promised, I made a quick video of the swaps I received at Stampin' Up!'s OnStage2018 in Birmingham last weekend, which I've already shared on my YouTube channel on Saturday but I ran out of time yesterday to do a blog post and to be honest was a little put off as the video has had very few views and someone has even given me a thumbs down!!! But I have to remind myself why I'm doing this blog (to record my creative journey and to share my love of stamping and crafting) and you can't win 'em all. There will always be haters and I am not going to let any negative nellies upset me!

It's probably not something that's of interest to many people but me but  I love swapping and getting to see cards and 3d items that have been created by other talent demonstrators. I tend to go for projects that have been made with products I don't own and am completely delighted with everything.
I will go through them again and if there are contact details will be sending personal messages of thanks. Everyone is so lovely to spend their time, energy and money creating these projects to swap and I am so thankful. I love being part of the Stampin' Up! family.
We also got loads of new Stampin' Up! goodies at the event - here I am with a beautiful box that was filled with a gorgeous canvas bag, which I didn't realise until later is reversible so has a fun design on the inside too.
We got our hands on the new Spring/ Summer Occasions catalogue and Sale-a-bration brochure - oh my goodness! And as demonstrators we get the chance to purchase product early. I am waiting for my delivery!!!  If you don't have a demonstrator and live in the UK let me know if you'd like a copy of the catalogue and I'll send you one when they are available.
Also in the box was a trio of notepads, pens and a free stamp set from the occasions catalogue.
Throughout the event there are were some all attendee give-aways - on the left a large zip up bag and on the right a beautiful tool case.
Below are two more free stamp sets, on the left was an all attendee give-away and goes with a beautiful card kit in the new catalogue and on the left my prize patrol - I love them both and as soon as I've finishing making Christmas Cards will be sharing projects made with these wonderful sets.
Anyway that's all for now so thank you for stopping by and keep it crafty.

My swaps for On Stage 2018 in Birmingham, UK

Hello my friends

I hope you have all had a wonderful week? I've been away for a few days away with my lovely hubby and one of my gorgeous fur babies. We took Dora, our caravan, up north for a little break near Birmingham, primarily because I was attending #OnStage2018, a Stampin' Up! demonstrator only event at The Vox in Resort World near the NEC. We stayed on the Kingsbury Water Park, a Camping & Caravanning Club site, which was perfect with wonderful dog walks along the Birmingham & Fazeley Canal and the numerous lakes. It was wet and windy but we don't mind a bit of rain and saw some amazing rainbows on our walks.

This was the first OnStage I've attended without my lovely upline Victoria and I was bit nervous but my friend Kelly was wonderful and saved me a seat at her table so I was lucky to share the day with her and other members of the Stampin Starfish team - the ladies helped make the day really special. Because Stampin' Up! is celebrating its 30th anniversary, we were spoilt rotten with loads of all attendee giveaways, prize patrol and sneak peeks at the upcoming occasions and sale-abration catalogues. Oh my goodness, I'm going to be broke as I NEED it all!!

Enough waffling, today I wanted to share with you the swaps I made for the event and I was hoping to share all the swaps I received but it's getting late so I'm only going to share mine with you today and will come back later in the week to show you the swaps I received ...... I haven't really had a chance to look through them properly yet.
The first little open top bag contains a little bag of Haribo sweets. I used Share What You Love Specialty DSP cut @ 4" x 9¼" (you get 3 from each 12" x 12" sheet). Score on the long side @ 3¾", 4½" 8¼" and 9" turn 45 and score @ ¼" and 3¼".
For the second sweet bag I used Tranquil Tides DSP cut @ 6" x 6" (you get 4 from each 12" x 12" sheet). Score @ 1½" and 4½" turn 45 and score @ 2½" and 3½".
Here they are together. I think I made about 40 of the them, I was hoping to make more but ran out of time and kept eating the sweets - how bad is that!! Anyway, here's a quick video where I try to show how I made them.
If you would like to purchase any of the products used for my swaps simply click on the photos below to go to my Stampin’ Up On-line store, or click here for a general browse but remember to use the November Host code if your order is between £25 and £150 to get a FREE gift from me in December.

If you have any questions, live in West Sussex and would like to come to a class or host a get together with friends please get in touch at

As always, thanks for popping by.
