Birthday Wit stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Happy Wednesday folks

I'm coming on today to quickly share some fun cards made using the brilliant Birthday Wit clear mount stamp set from Stampin' Up!  When I got my hands on the Spring / Summer Occasions Catalogue at our On Stage event in November last year, I knew I had to get this set as the humour is right up my street!

The first card is CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything) from page 9 of the catalogue and is so quick and easy to put together. I used Thick Whisper White cardstock to make a standard A6 card base and stamped the sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock. I cut out this down and then adhered the speech bubble on to the card front. Adding a few rhinestones finishes it off nicely.

This is a clean and simple card -  I often think less is more!
The second card was made for my father-in-law on his 70th birthday and is larger than my usual. I used the Number of Years photopolymer stamp set to make a background by randomly stamping the numbers on some retired DSP (I'm sure I've mentioned before that I'm a collector ,,,,,,, ok hoarder of designer series paper 😂 #loveitchopit). The sentiment panel on a Whisper White cardstock which has been stamped using Dapper Denim and Memento Black ink, The Happy Birthday is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I'm really pleased with way it turned out so did the recipient!
The last card is by far my favourite of the three. This sentiment made me laugh out loud and I wanted to have each line in a different colours so I stamped it using seven different colours and cut them up  (see below) so I could add them . To create a background I used a couple of stamps from the Picture Perfect Birthday photopolymer stamp set using the same colours. A panel of Basic Black cardstock between the Daffodil Delight A6 card base and the Whisper White stamped layer makes the whole thing pop!
Here are all the left over pieces ready for me to make more cards!

Gatefold Anniversary card using Fresh Florals DSP

Hello friends

Today I'm sharing one of the cards we made at my February card class. I was originally planning to make all the projects fancy folds but decided to just do one this month, I don't want to overwhelm my ladies as there's a mix of beginners and experienced crafters.

Here are all the projects; a fancy fold, a card showcasing the eclipse or spotlight technique, a  card showcasing the glorious Petal Passion DSP, which just needed colouring and a last but not least the last card I shared with Amazing You SAB set and thinlits dies.
For the Thursday evening class, my sample gatefold card was in Tranquil Tide but I gave my ladies the choice of making it in Powder Pink and Fresh Fig as well. I really like the way it looked in Fresh Fig so on Saturday they all made them in Fresh Fig.
Both versions were wedding cards. In retrospect, I think maybe the Happy Wedding Day sentiment should have been on the outside rather than the inside but they are done now!

For the video which you can see below, I decide to make an Anniversary card and used Versamark and clear embossing powder on the outside sentiment - I love the magic of heat embossing.
Products used:-

Standard A6 card base in Thick Whisper White (cut @ 14.8cm x 21cm - scored @ 5.25cm and 15.75cm)
Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack (cut at @ 2.5cm for the belly band and 2 x pieces cut @ 4.75cm x 14.3cm)
Scraps of Fresh Fig and Whisper White cardstock
Beautiful Bouquet Photopolymer stamp set
Fresh Fig Classic Stampin' Pad
Stampin' Sponge
Versmark
Clear Stampin' Emboss powder
Embossing Buddy
Everyday Label Punch
Pretty Label Punch
Heat Tool
Stampin' Trimmer

Happy Sunday - again!

I hope you have all had a great week? I've had another busy one. We have had a lovely weekend with my brother visiting from America. It's wonderful to have a bit of family time isn't it?

Today I found a little time to play with some of the wonderful Sale-a-bration products - the Amazing You wood mounted stamp set (I meant to order the clear mount set! - have you ever done that?) and the matching Celebrate You thinlits dies. Here are the two cards I made.
To make the cards, I used:

Versamark Pad

Elegant Eggplant Classic Ink pad
Powder Pink Classic Ink pad
Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink pad

As always, I made a quick video which you can check out below. Bloopers and all - including a slight hiccup with one of the stamps which is faulty but I know Stampin' Up! Demo support will help me with that in the morning.
