3-for-1 cards using Stampin' Up! embossing paste with glitter and reinkers

I hope you've had a good week? I've been busy with GDPR, the biggest change to data protection law in the UK in decades. If your inbox is anything like mine you will have been inundated with emails from companies - it's all a bit overwhelming.

I should have contacted my customers to ask permission to continue contacting them and to let them know what personal data I have but I decided to speak to them about it next time I see them, as most are friends I see regularly. In any event any data I have is stored securely and is never sold, shared or used in an unauthorised way.

I went to London with my parents on Thursday to catch up with my brother who stopped in the UK for a few days at the end of a business trip. He lives in Denver with his gorgeous family so it was really lovely to see him and spend time together as a family. Our return journey was delayed nearly 50 minutes with broken down trains and signalling problems. Sadly a couple of commuters took their frustrations out on the conductor. Southern Rail, the operator, is known locally as Southern Fail ..... which says it all!

Today's projects and video are inspired by the card below that I made some time ago and was inspired by a card I found on Pinterest - am I the only one that can spend hours on that site?  It was the first time I added colour and glitter to the Stampin' Up! embossing paste - it came out so pretty!
So the card base is Powder Pink cardstock cut @ 10.5cm and scored at 14.8cm. Whisper white cardstock is cut @ 10cm x 14.4cm. One of the Pattern Party Decorative Masks was placed over the top and a couple of drops of Lemon Lime Twist, Calypso Coral and Powder Pink reinker mixed with the embossing paste and spread over the mask. After removing the mask, Dazzling Diamond Stampin' Glitter was sprinkled on top and the excess tapped off. The sentiment from the Beautiful Day stamp set was heat embossed with White Embossing Powder on a strip of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and added with dimensionals.  It is so pretty and literally sparkles!!

I forgot to take a photo of the finished panel but earlier today I repeated the process using the same mask but this time the Whisper White cardstock was cut @ 15.24cm (or 6") and two returning colour reinkers were added to the embossing paste; Blackberry Bliss and Mint Macaron. I think they work really well together. Here are the three card I made:-
For the first card, I made a Wedding card with a Rich Razzleberry cardbase - it is so pretty in real life and shimmers with the dazzling diamonds.
The second card base is Mint Macaron cardstock from my stash - who says hoarding is bad .. haha! I'm sad the Hexagon Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder is retiring. It really is aptly named.
The final card base is Thick Whisper White. For this one I used the Brick Wall Textured Embossing folder - also retiring but not leaving my craft room that's for sure.

That's enough waffling, here's the video:-
My YouTube channel almost has 500 subscribers - how amazing is that? I feel like I'm getting better but to grow my channel I need to increase the number of video's I post or make better cards/projects! Oh well, as long as I'm having fun, that's what's really important and if I inspire others along the way that is brilliant.
