It's been a while!

I've been AWOL for over a month - did you miss me!  I decided not to put myself under pressure to make tutorials for my YouTube chanel or post on here - life got in the way of my crafting!!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Let's hope 2019 is a good year for all of us!

I spent Christmas in Denver with my parents, staying with my brother and his gorgeous family.  We packed so much in; shopping, a delicious meal at Benihana (I've since discovered there's one in London) with food cooked in front of us in quite a show including a smoking onion volcano, met some of their lovely friends, enjoyed a fun evening in an Escape Room (we didn't get all the clues but had a total blast), ate the biggest donuts I've ever seen, drove up to Vail to see snow, saw Ice Castles, went to a Christmas Eve service where there was a rock band, had a wonderful, noisy Christmas day ......  it was all absolutely fabulous. I'm blessed to have  a wonderful family and spending time with them is always precious.

I missed my hubby, who stayed home with our fur babies, despite having video chats every day but was back home to welcome in the New Year together. Sady, I've been laid low this past week with a bug. It's not often I'm not in the mood for crafting!

The only time I've spent in the craft room has been to decide on projects for this months card classes.

Here are photo's of the cards we made at Thursday's class.
These two cards showcase the stunning butterfly thinlits from the Beauty Abounds Bundle, which are gorgeous.
I created the background panel for the next card using stamps from the Beauty Amounds set and then overlaid some velum. I used liquid glue to adhere the tiny butterflies and used those spots to stick the velum to the card.
The final card is a sweet valentine's day card using the Hedgehugs stamp set.
I hope you enjoy the cards. I have lots of new goodies from the Occasions Catalogue and Sale-a-brations to create with and hope to share more projects with you on here very soon.
