Vibrant Vases

Hello again my crafty friends

Today, I'm sharing one of the cards from my recent card classes. I can't seem to stop using the Subtle embossing folder. Don't you just adore the texture it adds.
The card was inspired by all the beautiful projects I've seen made with the All is Rosy Medley which is only available in May 2019 while stocks last. For my card, I embossed some of the gorgeous Lovely Lipstick foil that I got during Sale-a-bration for the background. The card base is a standard A6 using Night of Navy cardstock.

The Vibrant Vases stamp set from the Spring/Summer Occasions catalogue is gorgeous and co-ordinates with the Varied Vases stamp set and Vase Builder punch. I'm so happy both will be in the new Stampin' Up! annual catalogue.

I wanted a frame around the vase and flowers so created one from whisper white cardstock using one of the Stitched Rectangles dies. On another piece of whisper white, I stamped the vase (two step stamping) in Night of Navy ink and the flower outline, infilling with Lovely Lipstick and added Lemon Lime Twist to the leaves. I repeated the stamping on another scrap of whisper white and fussy cut the flowers and sentiment before popping the frame and flowers and punched vase on dimensionals.
It doesn't really show in the photo's but I added clear Wink of Stella to the flowers to add a bit of sparkle - got to love a bit of sparkle. I added a little bow using retired ribbon to the top left of the frame as I felt it needed something.

Daisy Lane card

Hello my crafty friends!

I'm sharing a card today made with the new Daisy Lane stamp set, which was one of the sets we demonstrators were given at #OnStageTelford2019. I've not had much time to play with this set yet!

It's a standard A6 base in thick whisper white card stock. The copper foil layer is embossed with the Subtle embossing folder, which is easily missed in the catalogue but has definitely become a favourite. I'm also loving the new Stitched Rectangles dies, in fact I love all the stitched dies and have also used Tanquil Tide (one of the retiring in-colors) as a mat for the white stitched layer.

The daisies are heat embossed in white (as is the sentiment from the Stitched All Round stamp set) and fussy cut, one I popped up on a dimensional. I also added 3 tiny butterflies from the Beauty Abount die set and a white twine bow to finish it off.

I shared the card on social media but wasn't entirely happy with it so added an extra daisy!
I will be sharing the projects we made at my monthly classes last week over the next few weeks and some birthday cards I've made for friends and family.
