Sale-a-bration 2020 - freebies

Hello and welcome to my blog,

Today is a quick share of a few clean and simple cards made with products that I got for FREE!!! Sale-a-bration is a wonderful time in the Stampin' Up! calendar because for every £45 you spend on products from the annual or mini catalogues you get to chose FREE products.

Both of these cards were made in my January classes, the first is clean and simple using the Happy Birthday To You stamp set. I just love the main cake image and there are now co-ordinating Birthday dies that you can buy.  Two of the cards are good examples of #simplestamping and show how easy it is to make a beautiful card.
The card base for this card is Rich Razzleberry. Two pieces of whisper white slightly smaller are used on the front and inside. The images are stamped in Tuxedo Black using the Stamparatus (Stampin' Up!s stamp positioning tool, which is a must have in my humble opinion and if you but it you'd qualify for the FREE stamp set). The flowers and cake stand were coloured using watercolour pencils. Clear Wink of Stella is added to the flowers to give a bit of sparkle and sequins add the finishing touch.
For the next card, the base is Blackberry Bliss. I stamped the images with Versamark and heat embossed with White Embossing powder. The cake is coloured with a chalk marker and the flowers wth water colour pencils.
The next card base is thick Very Vanilla, with a layer of Garden Green and a final layer of Very Vanilla. The lovely floral images from the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set were stamped in Garden Green, Seaside Spray and Blueberry Bushel. So pretty don't you think? The half inch circle punch was used to create a little recess for the Blueberry Bushel ribbon and sentiment is stamped in the same colour and punched with the Everyday label punch. A few basic Pearls add the finishing touch. This is another example of #Simplestamping.
