Hello and welcome to my blog
Today I'm sharing my card for the Global Design Project #255 - this week is a theme challenge.
The thick whisper white card base measures 14.8cm x 29.6cm scored @ 14.8cm. Using the second smallest stitched circle die, I made a few marks with a pencil in the middle of the card front so I knew where to stamp. I think the speckled stamp adds a bit of texture to the background. When I was happy with the way it looked I added the foil element with liquid glue which hides the hot mess in the centre. I stamped the sweet sentiment from Forever Fern in Pretty Peacock on a stitched shape circle and layered that on to a Pretty Peacock scalloped circle using mini dimensionals - I love the pop of colour! This was added to the centre of the gorgeous gold element with mini dimensionals.
I decided to make a video to show how quick and easy this card is to make. This time I used all blue inks; Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight, Coastal Cabana and Balmy Blue. As you can see I made this one a birthday card using one of the sentiments from Fancy Phrases.
