Stampin' Up! Dragonfly Garden - #GDP277 Colour Challenge

Hello and welcome to my blog

It's Sunday so it's time to share my entry to this week's Global Design Project challenge - #GDP277 is a colour challenge; Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose and Sahara Sand.

Here are the colours :-

I am so happy that my card for last week's challenge, which you can see HERE, was picked as a #GDPwinner - how amazing is that. I found out on Monday and it made my day!
Anyway, back to this week's challenge. I have deliberately kept it really simple because I thought I would go for a two for one! Every month Stampin' Up! sets us a #SimpleStamping challenge and for February the theme is Birthday using only stamps, ink, and paper.

Stamps:-  Dragonfly Garden, Art Gallery
Inks:-  Sahara Sand, Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose
Papers:-  Thick white card and Oh So Ombre designer series paper (one of the Sale-a-bration items you can earn for FREE with an order of £45 until the end of February)

After making the card for 'GDP277 I thought it would be fun to show how easy it is to make a pretty set of cards with limited supplies. As the Oh So Ombre dsp has four colours : Blackberry Bliss, Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay and Rococco Rose I made the three other cards with co-ordinating inks. I love this DSP and the ombre side is perfect for stamping on.
I wanted to keep the stamping soft and subtle so used Smoky Slate and Pool Party with Bermuda Bay.
I used Garden Green with Granny Apple Green
And finally paired Rich Razzleberry with Blackberry.
I made a quick video of me making the Bermuda Bay version which you can watch below.
